In this arrangement of Amazing Grace I hope to capture the soulful depth of the tune, while also giving the advanced flutist a vehicle for brilliant passage work, composed in the style of an improvisational solo based on the song. The arrangement begins with unaccompanied flute quietly playing the melody, develops into a passionate outpouring, and returns to unaccompanied flute at its conclusion.
